Klent Vogue

Karabo Lentoro, also known as Klent Vogue, was born on the 21st of January 2004. The emerging rapper was born in the beautiful city of Bloemfontein and it seems like it is where his journey began.

Amazed at a young age by the “constant punchlines and nasty flows” put together by the famous and flamboyant Lil Wayne and J Cole, this is what led to his creative career. He also figured out that when listening to various artists, like the late Juice WRLD, he was using the same tactics, but his work was crafted differently. This is when Klent decided to join the rap game.

Many rappers have their own founded motivation that led to where they are currently, but Klent’s motivation is unique. Putting effort onto his work, is what he realised at a later stage that he needed to do, so to pull through and make his creative career work, he decided to put effort and then boom!, we have an emerging star.

At a certain time, creatives cross points they feel as if though they are being pulled back very hard and sometimes it can disappoint them. Klent had to be limited and he says “having to have to go a totally different direction rather than what you want to portray as an artist due to limitations

With all the hardships and setbacks creatives experience there has to be a source of inspiration. Klent’s source of inspiration is quite heartwarming. He says his friends and community inspire him. With role models like Juice WRLD, Lil Wayne and Eminem have Klent pushing harder and harder.

Every creative’s journey has its jol moments and it not so great moments as well, but its up to the creative whether they decide to grow or they become stagnant.

From Klent, we can expect a few EPs, mixtapes and projects. And also we can expect a better Klent in the year 2022.

I appreciate the constant support and enjoying my music enough to take 3 minutes of their time, listening to Klent Vogue.
